I absolutely love roasted garlic! I will even roast some cherry tomatoes cut in half with the garlic and pour some balsamic vinegar on them. Yummy Yum!

Love, love, love roasted garlic. On everything really, but so easy on bread, with a little bit of soft cheese... My mouth waters as my mind wanders.

However, it's never even occurred to me to try it in a skillet. (I'm a wrap in foil, drizzle with olive oil, toss in toaster oven kind of girl.) Are there advantages to the stovetop method I'm not aware of?
