Vegetarians come in all walks of life; scientists, actors, singers, physicians, philosophers, athletes, and so on.
Curious as to who some vegetarians are? I was. So I compiled a list. Some of the names might just surprise you.

Weird Al Yancovic surprised me most of all! I have a whole new respect for the man now =)
Actually, you know who surprised me the most? Mark Twain. Cigar-chomping, fast-talking, suit-wearing Mark Twain. What fun.
Just browsing the internet. You have a very, very interesting blog. I’m sure I will visit again.

Maybe you need to just qualify the term vegetarian here to mean “Was likely to have been or possibly has been vegetarian for at least some period of their life”.
e.g. John Lennon was macrobiotic when living with Yoko Ono, which meant eating fish.
(see http://www.ivu.org/people/music/lennon.html)
And there’s no evidence that Bob Dylan was ever vegetarian, so he shouldn’t be on the list.

Even Brad Pitt is dodgy:

Seems harder than you think to get through the rumours and find hard facts.
